Just a shout out to anybody who may happen to be attending BGG.Con this year in November. No official events, but I'll be there and will be bringing some of my dice. At a minimum, I'll be bringing demo armies plus some well constructed 'advanced armies' after learning the basic rules from the demo game.

When I attended in 2012, I managed to meet up with 3 others who used to play or at least owned dice, but didn't know or couldn't remember the rules. I had a good time refreshing people on the game basics, and I'm expecting to be mostly teaching in my Dragon Dice games, but would love to play against experienced players as well if any experienced players would be coming.

Good question. I'm having a hard time finding it. I want to say in the thousands, but I really don't even have the vaguest idea if it's in the low thousands or tens of thousands. I've asked what they cap attendance at to see what they say.

I would have to guess the low thousands though. Maybe mid thousands, but probably low.

So this is the answer I got back:

"That's not considered public info, but estimates are around 2,500. "

Definitely a smaller con, and focused on playing games, not buying games. But I was fortunate enough to come across a few old DD players last time I went. I'll be teaching this to a couple of my friends at the con, but was hoping to find players again as well.
