OK, this forum is all about rules translations. By design it will be in many different languages. I'm looking for someone that will be able to moderate this forum. Knowing multiple languages is a necessity. Any volunteers? _________________ You can never have too many dice.

As far as I can see, in german spoken countries people already started to do a translation (dieter, autpost and myself).
We have to revise all the material we have so far.
If people want me to do this for german language I volunteer for this. |

Unfortunately (or luckily, depending on the point of view) I'm just encountering major changes in my life: Two or three days ago I was ready to start a translation, being sure to be able to finish it within two weeks (full time job).
Now things seem to change rapidly (expecting decisions within upcoming week, hopefully) so I neither will be able to start a translation nor will I be able to moderate. (Even though I would have LOVED to do both!!).
Sorry, but if anything works out fine (= bad for my hobby ) then I'll be traveling even more than ever before!!! ( 6 to 8 weeks on, 6 to 8 weeks off). I won't be totally lost in the Netherlands but at least I won't be here regularly enough!

If Armin volunteers for the moderator job he should be chosen first. If a second German moderator is needed I would do that too.
Unfortunately I'm able to speak just two languages: English and German. Years ago I've started to learn Spanish but finally decided to improve my English rather than learning a third language.
Anyway, in the next days I will spend a lot of time to translate the rules. The side effect will be: If there are any questions remaining, they will come up.
btw: Good luck for Dieter and his new job! |

| By the way chuck, I still don't know if you got the "imaged" version of the advanced rules I send to you last thursday, or if my companies' virus scanner or spam filter catched it? |

No, I didn't get the files. Email does not seem to be a good way to send large files. I'll email you with another method. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Hi!
I've seen there's a Spanish translation, and some other translations on the way.
I speak Spanish and Catalán (A second language in Spain), a bit of English and German, and a little bit of French (I can understand quite well, but I write with a lot of mistakes).
I think there's no need of a moderator in this section. There're just a few messages. But if a moderator is required, I'd like to be the one in this section if anyone doesn't and if it doesn't requires to connect everyday. I can connect 2 or 3 times a week.
Do I need to know something about programming? I don't know much about that. Just at user level... |

No real need for a moderator. As far as the translation goes, the rules have changed since the last translation. You don't need to know any programming in order to translate the rules. You do need a good grasp of the rules themselves. We can help you here if you have any questions on the rules. If you'd like to take a shot at translating the rules into Spanish, go ahead. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

I'd check first my translation before doing another one (to see if you prefer doing another one or feel fine with mine) |
