I know there's a group that regularly plays up in the Mount Prospect area. I know dice are available at Wandering Dragon in Plainfield. Anyone out this way interested in playing?

I am hoping to get some people together for a Dragon Dice game down at the Dragon sometime.

I'm pretty flexible on dates and times as are they.

Love a game. My son and I would both be in with additional players.

Saturday the 11th won't work for me. While my wife son and I will be there basically from 3pm until close. We're going as part of Tabletop Day and going to be playing/demoing some of our favorite games.

I may have to include a couple of small DD armies in case someone asks.

After that, I'm generally open any Saturday after 3pm as is my 15yo son.

Kevin, the owner, is very good about accommodating and is usually very supportive or getting games demo'd (sp?).

Hi all,

Recently when visiting home I found my old dragon dice and did some research and just ordered a couple kickers to get me and a friend or two started on the game. I haven't played in close to 15 years and basically forgot all the rules.

Anyway, I live in Chicago now and could use some help both learning how to play and finding other people to play!

what is the best way for me to get to know some of the people in the area? and get myself to an event or battle of some kind to either watch or learn the game.

Welcome!

How close are you to Games Plus! in Mt. Prospect, IL ? There is a group that plays there about once a month. They are taking August off, but should be there the evening of September 26th.

As for the rules, that's no big thing, we have redone the rules a few times in the last 15 years to improve balance and are on the cusp of doing another rendition this fall. So it's the perfect time to relearn!

Kickers arrived and got my first three games under my belt. It's good to be back! I have a wedding that weekend so I'll miss September but I found the forum for the group and will follow with hopes of making it in October.

Thanks for the help and I look forward to gaming with everyone. If there are any games or events in between then and now in the area I'll be ready!
