Hey guys,
does an army under the spell of ashstorm have a disadvantage against dragons? Is the dragon also affected since the dragon is at the terrain?

What about dancing lights? Are the armys missile attack against the dragon halved?

What about blizzard? Will the the dragon's melee attacks also be halved?

Thanks!

Dragons are not affected by any spells except for Dragon Summoning. Any time an army is rolled, any spell that affects that army is applied. That said, you can usually ignore a spell that is not going to change your current roll. For example Dancing Lights would half your missile and magic during a melee roll. Generally that is not important. However, if your army is also under a Necromatic Wave, it would be important that those magic results are halved before they are converted to melee.

So it's a great tactic to drop a dragon on a terrain, and then drop some Ash Storms there as well. Hinders the army, no effect on the dragon.
