We began this effort without formally clarifying the structure. Our stockholders are familiar with this, but this effort has been opened up to a larger audience.

We learned a long time ago that games can not be designed 'by committee' and that gamers are very passionate.

This process has been in the brainstorming state for now. There have been some excellent original suggestions made.

To move out of that some decisions will have to be made. By default, some ideas are not going to be selected.

These decisions are not made personally. They are made solely to benefit the future of the game and company.

If your idea is 'passed over', don't take it personally. Don't blow up. Don't be bitter. Don't keep bringing it up. Accept the decision and please help to define the next point.

I just want to set your expectations so that no one is taken by surprise.

If you choose to react 'badly', then this will have to be restricted to a smaller audience.

Lets just not go there, everyone's input is valuable. Whether it is enacted or not.

At this point the "current rules" are 3.01. These are the rules that will be used in all SFR tournament play.

Old rules discussions have been left on the forum for historic reasons. They are locked and can only be read.
