First of all, I love the 4.0 rules. I think just about every change has been for the better, and I think overall the game is just so much cleaner, better balanced, etc.

The silver medallion is much more playable, but I'm curious why the item recovery option was limited to 4-sided dice. The bronze medallion Cantrips and lets you cast them outside your normal race and color, and the gold recovers 4 health of dead units.

I don't see artifacts being played much anyway, and they aren't very powerful in any case. Was there a concern that recovering an artifact was going to be too powerful?
