I was thinking about the trading situation for dragon dice. There are certain people that have built references and done multiple deals and have a positive reputation as a trader, however there are also others who have not done trades before or have no reputation. Do people ever get ripped off or cheated? I was just wondering if that was an issue at all.
Also a possible safeguard against that happening would be setting up a middleman system, where big name collectors who have built large amounts of references are designated middlemen. When 2 people with no reputation want to trade they contact the middleman and with his compliance each party then send the dice they are trading to each other to the designated middleman along with extra postage to pay to have the dice shipped out to the other reference less trader. |

I can Say that yes we do get rip off some times. I hate to say it but a few years back some guy offered me 500+ dice including some ultra rares for $200 I asked to pay via PayPal he demanded money-order. After weeks of not getting the dice he gives me another BS email that he shipped them to the wrong address and would not refund my money, follow up email came back as he was no longer a user of that email address.
The lesson is crystal clear now, If email from ebay check that person out thoroughly first. When it comes to things people collect there can be some real creeps out there trying to take advantage of us so we must use caution.
Chuck is always good to trade with and as to ebay regulars (forgive me if I step out of line here) Chimera-bob I have got cases of M&A firewalker and Magestorm from him while Dragon dice was in hiding for a few years.
But other then the bad trade up above I have had LOTS OF REALLY GREAT TRADES WITH ALOT OF THE PLAYERS THAT POST HERE!!! _________________ Got to love wolves, overwelming numbers, act as a team, Nature ready made army.

| That sucks. I think this topic would also be useful if people wanted to post their own advice or recommendations for new people to read to avoid getting ripped off. |

We have a trade references topic here in the forum. So I guess that's exactly what you mean?
We put it up to publish the names of nice and bad traders.
So whenever you have made your trading experience with somebody, you can post it there as a recommendation or as a warning. _________________

| Not exctly Dieter. I was thinking that this topic was more about potential ways or recommendations of dealing with people that are not mentioned in that topic, people that have no feedback. Maybe I worded it badly. |

| After checking with riolis, it appears he and I both got ripped off by this same guy. If anyone here gets any message from Eric Struble, please contact me right away. I'd like to have a few words with him.... _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Sounds like Eric's Trouble
I'd be more than happy to deliver a guy like that to you but unfortunately I don't know him (or should I say "furtunately"?) _________________
