I know we have the Demo/Novice Rules and the Advanced Rules, but do we need to consider a set of Intermediate Rules or should the Advanced Rules be annotated to indicate what parts are to be considered as Intermediate level rules? Seems to me these rules would allow all races and monsters, maybe Dragon Kin, but limit the spell list, so to give folks a set of rules to use while they gain experience constructing armies and before they are ready to "graduate" to the Advance Rules.
Just a thought for discussion. _________________ Michael DeZearn

I think it's simpler to just restrict what they can bring to the table. We ran into a problem leaving out the racial spells. Treefolk have no resurction magic without racial spells. And that's just one example. If you leave out Magestorm components, promo dice, and monsters, the game gets a lot simpler. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Roger.
As a suggestion when future tournaments are listed with various conventions, maybe the listing should include the link to the rules that will be in effect for the tourney. It wasn't a problem at GENCON due to John K's excellent GM'ing, but there were a number of players who were trying to use the rules from the TSR boxes for their armies, particularly for the kickers. _________________ Michael DeZearn

I did put in the rules to be used for our website and the program book. But it could have been better. So, for next year, I'll make the rules a link. _________________ You can never have too many dice.
