|
|
So if Amazons are sitting at my home terrain on a missle face, they can launch an assault on the armies at my home, and at the armies on the frontier. However, if I move them into reserves, now they can launch an assult on my home, the frontier, and any other terrain in the game.
How does that make sense?
Doesn't that seem WAY too powerful? |

That rule was changed in the new rules, because it was really way overpowered. Amazon reserve missiles now work the way they did originally-only against your home terrain or the frontier. _________________ Steve "DDice" Braun

Yes, it was too powerful. Since very little could attack the Amazons in reserves, they could just sit there and pelt other players with missile. Ask any older players about Medusas in reserves (shudder). _________________ You can never have too many dice.

I guess I'm considered a middle-age player, but I've seen more Medusas than I care to remember. if you didn't bring the right color of magic there was nothing you could do except run and hide and play a passive game. |

Oh, good! I've printed the new rules, but I haven't fully integrated them into our games yet. I'm really glad that was changed. |
