As mentioned elsewhere, my son has recently got me back into Dragon Dice.

Last night he absolutely kicked my ass with a 36 health Treefolk/Swamp Stalkers/Undead combo that he'd put together

His play style tends to be to get 1 terrain to magic, which he uses to resurrect stuff and summon dragons, get the other terrains to melee and whittle me down. He doesn't use much missile

I tend to use a 2 race combo, usually something like coral elves and feral, or lava elves and firewalkers

He's now trying to come up with other good combo's and I wondered if people can give suggestions...

I have (i think):
3 original starters
2 magestorm sets
0 Amazons
1 swampstalkers kicker
2 firewalkers kickers, 2 frostwing kickers, 2 scalder kickers
3 undead kickers, 3 feral kickers, 3 treefolk kickers

With the exception of the swampstalkers, all the races are a pretty equal mix of melee, missile,magic.

You could try mixing Dwarves with Scalders and/or Feral. I sometimes use a combination of Coral Elf mages and Firewalker troops.

Everyone in the Windy City Bone Rollers will tell you that my favorite combo is Feral and Treefolk. See the Tips and Tricks topic under Game Strategy for interesting things that combo can do, like Flood to Victory or Path to Victory, and especially, Hide.
