This came up in an on-line game. When you roll the disaster face on a Bridge, does the Flood half all maneuvers, including SAI-generated maneuvers? The answer is yes. The reason is simple. Terrains (even minor terrains) can already affect SAI-generated normal results. They can double saves and/or maneuvers due to an eighth face at a major terrain, selecting double saves and double maneuvers from a minor terrain ID, or getting either double save or double maneuver on a minor terrain. The disaster face is really no different. So if it halves some result, that includes SAI-generated results. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

I'm gonna have to review the current rulebook to see what it says, but in the past it has always been that 'good things' change SAI's and 'bad things' don't.
I'll post again this afternoon with my thoughts on this. What can change an SAI's results, specifically related to terrains. |

That may have been true at one point (not sure), but the current rules state that nothing can alter SAI-generated results except terrain effects and racial abilities (Starter Rules book, pages 77-78 ). |

If thats the only thing the rulebook says (and I'm sure it is) then Chuck is correct and disaster faces would negatively affect SAI results. |
