I'm not going to use the Wayfare special. I'll turn the terrain down to 4. Roll for Missile at Brad's army.

(roll units w/ flaming armor) Mammoth Rider ID; 2 saves on Patroller

(roll units w/o flaming armor) IDs on Pony Rider and Adept; save on Footman and Pony Rider.

(5*2)+4=14 save results.

Flaming armor fizzles out on Mammoth Rider and Patroller.

1st March:
turn terrain down to 3

Reserve phase:
all units except a Pony Rider (with no spells on it) goto reserve.

I end my turn.

That pony rider can't possibly be there to interfere with my maneuver attempt for the possible win, but those Treefolk likely will be there and get doubled maneuvers for their counter-maneuver. Also Chuck won't have any replanting opportunities (no marches at terrains) before I try and move it up for a second 8th face Wink

Of course, he'll probably just rez them.....hrm, yeah I probably shoulda pathed more over.....ah well.

umm....are you sure you meant Raven's home? Raven already controls the 8th face at his home and is all alone at Jim's home terrain (which is at 7).

Actully, I'm not sure what you're worried about. One Transmute Rock to Mud will probably shut my maneuvers down, plus you can cast Wind Walk on your own army. Even if you don't win, you could always retreat to reservers and fight another turn.

Anyway,
1st march: turn Chuck's home terrain down to 2.

2nd march: reserve magic (roll) 13 lava elf magic results. Buring Hands on two Warlock and Flaming Armor on Warlock.

Reserve phase:
move all units from reserve to Jim's home.

I end my turn.

7 Magic, 3 ID
Wolv: 3 Magic; Badger: 3 Magic; Hamadryad: 1 Magic; Eldar: 3 ID

3 ID --(doub as Gold)--> Transmute Rock to Mud piMaster's army at Jim's home
4 Blue: Wind Walk my army at Jim's home once.
3 As Black: Palsy piMaster's army at my Home

2nd March: Maneuver attempt at Jim's home: 9 Maneuver + Wind Walk --> 13 Maneuver
Tender: 2 Move; Scorcher: 2 Move; D. Rider: 2 ID; Slippers: 2 Move, 1 Move

(note the -6 (TRtM) and -1 (Palsy) [you need 21 maneuvers to stop me]

drum roll please...
