The battlefest Monotony is getting close to being done. Lets talk about the next online game.
46 Health
Dragons must all be Ivory.
No Promo
No Magestorm
All units in your army are from a single race.
You can have at most 1 of each die.
Essentaily what this means is you have one of every die except you choose one monster to leave out if there is a 5th monster for your race.
I'm in, who else is? We will declare races after all players are identified.

Do you have to leave out one of the monsters? Instead, could I leave out four of the commons? Just curious. |

No. I want all the armies to have as close to a composition as possible. 5 commons, 5 uncommons, 5 rares, 4 monsters.

Well it was wednesday and it wasn't raining, so I rolled 2d6 and got a 3 and a 5. I opened the 5th file in the 3rd directory on my harddrive and then since I had coffee for breakfast I rolled a d20 and got a 12. The 12th line in that word document just happened to say 'Because I said so'
and please people, lets do something more interesting than all playing frostwings. |

I'd vote to keep it at four (which is the recommended upper limit in the rules).
Actually, we only have three people (myself, Chuck, and Cliff). Jim didn't say he was playing, he only asked about which races the other people were using so he could finish up the images. |

Phah.
In this format Firewalkers have a distinct edge on account of their focused mages and the generality of their other units. Flaming shields gives them a big boost.
Undead also have an edge due to race-wide focus and having extra magic troops.

Of course that "edge" seems much less so when you (read: me  ) realize that with only one Skeletal Steed they're as slow as molasses in January.
If the terrains don't come up right, they're at a distinct disadvantage.

I appreciate the offer, but you go ahead.
Since I tend to check the forums at work and my dice are at home, it's just as well.  I've never paid attention to this forum before, anyway, much less played on-line. I'll see how this goes then maybe play one in the future.
I'm curious to see what Brad's army will be. And how it plays out.
(BTW, 48 health = 12 Eldarim => one of each  )
