Cliff,
I think that with this combination of moves, Pelter just lost the 8th face at Raven's home. Now that it is down to 7, Pelter needs to stop Raven's second maneuver attempt in order to keep the game going. If he doesn't succeed in doing that, then game over.

Yup, that first counter was against my Nightmoves on my home. So, it moves down to 7.
We're stilling waiting for Pelter's second counter-maneuver, during my second march to try and move it up to get my 2nd 8th.... |

Oops. I rolled my wrong army. I rolled my 3 trolls rather than my 11.
My second counter-maneuver attempt (with the right army this time) is...
1 ID
2 Maneuver
1 smite
3 melee
2 Regenerate
2 Save
=12*2=24
my first counter-maneuver (with the wrong army) was:
1 Smite
1 Melee
1 Save
=0
I managed to misread the posts in an illogical manner (Raven's home vs. Raven's eighth).
Maybe I should wait until an hour after school before coming to the forum...

Actually, Raven, you have 6 Restless Dead on that army, right? In that case, both your rolls are 27. If that roll by Pelter Boy is his first roll, then he got:
12 - 3 = 9 x 2 (Goblins in Swamp) x 2 (Eighth Face) = 36. So the terrain does not go down to 7 on the first roll. But now Pelter Boy needs to roll again. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

| I only have 4 Restless Deads there, I only spent 16 Magic on those......that 6 part didn't get changed. Correct, if that was for his first roll then it stays, he still needs another counter however.... |

Next : Turn Cliff's home up to 4 and Missile Cliff at the Frontier.
Medallion:TSR (Bring Back 1 horse from BUA)

I thought this game was done, so I don't have dice with me.
Here is what I would do. Chuck can roll for me. if I get any cantrips then let me know and we will pause to spend them.
1)Save agaisnt the missile, should be easy. Sneakattacks go against raven. too bad he'll have to kill the monsters first

Ok, it will have to be later, since I don't have dice at work either.
Cliff, you keep forgetting. Sneak Attack does not function during a save roll anymore. But Cantrips will. More importantly for you, the TSR face on a medallion would also function. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Not necessarily. If you get two Sneak Attacks, that would be 8 health killed, which could be taken as 2 rares and the uncommon. Three Sneak Attacks could be taken as 4 rares. |

Rolling for Cliff:
Save Roll: Logo, Sneak Attack, Fly, Smite, Fly, Sneak Attack, Fly, Smite, Wayfare, Flurry.
Maneuver Roll: Sneak Attack, ID, Fly, Fly, Smite, Sneak Attack, Cantrip, Sneak Attack, TSR, Flurry.
Total of 12 Maneuvers. Raven's going to have to actually roll some.
Melee Attack: Fly, Cantrip, Logo, Fly, Smite, ID, Fly, Logo, Flurry-> TSR, Flurry->Flurry->Sortie.
Cantrip works, TSR can be used.
4 Smite, 24 Melee.
Save Roll (assuming a counter-attack): Smite, Sneak Attack, Cantrip, Smite, Fly, Fly, ID, Smite, Sortie, Flurry.
Another Cantrip, 20 saves. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Thus begins the fall... let's hope Pelter doesn't quickly snap up the pieces....
No deaths from Sneak Attacks during a Save roll....phew...
Then a counter-maneuver:
15 Maneuver - 3 TRtM = 0*2 + 1 x Restless Dead = 4 Maneuvers...
Fenhounds: 2 x 4 Move, 4 ID; Vampire: 3 ID
Lose the 8th face, turn down to 7: Melee...
Take a Fenhound for the Smite, then saving: 19 Save
Fenhound: 4 Save; Vampire: 2 x face; 3 x 3 Save
24 - 19 = 5 damage...
Take a Vamp and the Heucava for the damage...
[DUA has 2 hounds, a Vamp, and a Heucava now]
Wow, "biting" back with a vengeance....
21 Melee, 12 Convert
Fenhound: 4 Melee; Vampires: 4 x 3 Convert, 2 x 3 ID, 2 x 4 Melee, 1 x 3 Melee
-with the other hound saving, and one Vamp doing voodoo or something...
Resolve the 12 pts of Convert by rolling 3 of those Masters, I'll see what if anything I can bring back and add to the mayhem...after that (I might bring back a Fenhound or two who could get Smites), would you mind if I ask you to reroll that last save roll if any of the masters dies from the Converts?? |
