|
|
A Dragon attacks my army, rolling a claw.
In the combo roll i get two cantrips.
The cantrips resolve immediately, so can i summon the dragon away?
And what happens with the damage he made? |

| You could use the two cantrips to summon the dragon away (assuming its not an ivory or white dragon). However, the damage has already been done to your army, and summoning it away won't change that. |

In the same situation....
Dragon rolls a claw...
your army is 2 wizards
which both roll cantrips,
can you cantrip away out of the Dragon's Claw damage?
In the case of a Ghost,
if it rolled vanish, then of course it can vanish away and leave the saves behind...
but what if the damage was say more, like a Jaws.
Your army is 2 ghosts and the Dragon rolls jaws,
so even if you roll 2 vanish SAI's,
will this kill the Ghosts?
I suppose leave one Ghost behind to take all the damage would be the best option if both Ghosts would be killed.

You have to understand the difference between individual damage, and army damage. If an individual die is targeted, then no matter where it moves, the damage follows it. So Pathing a die that is struck by Lightning Strike will not save it. If an army takes damage, and individual dice move away from the army before damage is final (i.e. some special or unique SAI), then those units escape the damage, even if all units of the army are gone. The only thing that matters is if the unit is still in the army that took the damage when the damage is final (i.e. after all special and unique SAIs are finalized). _________________ You can never have too many dice.
