Roll 166 Pelters. The chance that all of them will roll their IDs is the probability above.
(1/6)^166 = your number |

I was wondering when somebody would find the easy answer...
The event I'm thinking of involves only 1 die. _________________ Former Destroyer, son of Ddice

Pelter_Boy, is it 1/1.4....
or

The first figure in your post is including decimal point, the other one without! _________________

they're the same number
1489730000211129651147493084736749638502392068133639444902561962993580949614918413752323655662367525918576816058685398066665619456 =1.4897300002117*10^129
The second number is in scientific notation. _________________ Former Destroyer, son of Ddice

It has to do with results of the die in question. _________________ Former Destroyer, son of Ddice

Well, one thing is for sure:
This figure hasn't been posted in the forum yet!
You didn't want to make it THAT easy, huh?
Considering the very large number, which means the very small possibility of getting this result, I figure that we're not talking about ONE result here, but a number of results, which means that we're talking about re-rolling, like IDs in Group Monsters, Tails by dragons, Rends, Double Strikes or something like that.
Furthermore, if the number is THAT high, it must be either many re-rolls in a row or less re-rolls by a die with many faces!
Am I getting closer???
Okay, since I can hardly manage to keep my dice inventory mistake free, you can see that I'm not good in numbers.
So I'll simply go for a guess:
I say it's the possibility to roll as many Tails on an elemental dragon that it is surely enough damage points to wipe out the entire defending army!!! (I guess something around 15 Tails when attacking a 36health army.)
Close enough?
Or totally off? _________________

15 tails would be 1/470184984576 (1/4.70185*10^11), which would be 1/3.17*10^17 (~three-quadrillionths) of the actual probability.
But you're getting closer... _________________ Former Destroyer, son of Ddice

No, just 166 Wyrm-Tails in a row. The probability that you roll them is the number above.
They will deal 498 damage, enough to kill all of his Pelters (if they don't save).
Right? |

Not quite. 166 Wyrm tails would be 1/8.749*10^99
The answer is not x tails; the answer is a specific amount of damage. _________________ Former Destroyer, son of Ddice

My mistake. I have mixed up Drake and Wyrm. The Drake is the one with two tails.
With a probability of 1/(1.489730000*10^129) a Drake rolls 165 tails & 1 Wing and deals exactly 500 damage. |
