Firewalker Monolith
I had some strange dreams recently,
about these wild artifact dice.
They were quite large in health as well as size.
There were several shapes and sizes as well.
This is an example of what I saw.
By having a non-symetrial shape,
there would be more difficult sides to roll.
Of course this is just a fantasy die,
and I really don't know what mathematical implications there would be as far as rolling .
Perhaps the die is like a true monolith artifact,
that is,
it is so heavy that it is only rolled once....
not sure... this was from a dream.

Green Missile Monolith
Another monolith from my dreams.
Again, a fantasy concept.
I'm guessing it is 10 health,
but my dreams fail to provide me with that information,
I just see these magic items,
and the funny thing is,
they seem to be prototypes for display,
not even used in game play.

| I remember in one post someone suggested dice that represent earth works or fortifications that are immovable, kind of like minor terrains. These might be good for that, like a wall or trench that an army can capture then roll. |

I would suggest to add a number on the side of the monolith.
For example:
The player who captures the fourth face captures the monolith (if the fourth face of the terrain shows missile and if the terrain is green). If the terrain is turned to another number, the monolith leaves play, but comes back if the terrain is maneuvered to four again.
(In this version the monolith has no health like minor terrains.) |

Pyramid Monolith
A storm is coming.....
The icons count on all 3 sides of the apex.
Choosing the order of the SAI's will unlock the Power of the Pyramid. (Built in combos.)
Having 3 flurrys on one side will result in a reroll unless the pyramid lands with the flurrys on the bottom.
So that might be a bit much.
This is just a general idea on how to create a powerful die.
Fantasy Concept

Another concept for the pyramid monolith would be to give the player a choice of one of the 3 apex icons to use.
In this case, a die could be designed to have 3 varieties of icon types.
for example. One apex could be missile/magic/melee.
The monolith is a devastating force.

Would the missile monolith have any other number in the side besides 4?
Perhaps you roll the monolith to determine its number...
4,5 or 8th
I like the number on the side idea...
it should work the same for all colors.
I think you have a terrific idea...
then there should be a 7 melee monolith too!! |

Hmmm..
let's see....
lots of sleep...
what kind of monolith have I come up with now...
The Regen-o-lith
A Multi-Metallic Monolith with a Bronze, Silver, Gold SFR face,
and a Regenerate.
Smite, Flurry, Wayfare, Sortie.
Still on the drawing board.....
(possible multi-metallic inks could be one solution)
The fantasy Platinum SFR (any SAI) might need to be added as well.

My latest Monolith concept....
All the Kings on one Die
So it would be a Kings' Monolith
Several SFR Logos too....
Monolith King Variation:
1.using the king to auto-promote (recruit 1 health)
or
2. Roll the King to return 4 health (return 4 health from the DUA)
or
3.
Roll the King monolith for Racial borrowing...
if a King is the result...
your army may borrow that racial ability until the begining of your next turn.
If SFR logo is rolled...any races racial ability may be used until the beginning of your next turn.

Another monolith dream:
I was walking on the steets of some sort of open street market or fest...
they were selling many things...
but I happened to spot some Dragon dice.
It looked like they obtained some promo dice somehow,
but that's all they really had.
There were several slightly larger colored clear Dragonmasters....
probably 5 health....
but then there was this odd shaped colored clear monolith with what looked like Arabic/Chinese writing....
It was almost like some sort of Rosetta stone.
Perhaps each side had a decree of abilites that an army could use. |

Truncated icosahedron
This could make a cool multi-headed Dragon...
plenty of room for multi-breaths and Jaws
32 faces

I posted this under monoliths beacause the faces are different shapes...
some are pentagon and some are hexagon.
Aslo known as the "Soccer ball".
