Really easy question:
What is the most common SAI. "Common" meaning the one that shows up on the most dice.
Answer to DDTQ#5: SFR Reprint Ormyrr _________________ Former Destroyer, son of Ddice

If you go by the number of dice actually made, then the reprint Ormyrr is not the rarest. It's actually the reprint Frost Ogre. It edged out the reprint Unseelie by a very small (statistical) margin. When the reprint Frostwings and Scalders were made, there were slightly less Frostwings made than Scalders. Statistically there are 4 less Frost Ogres than Scalders. There were quite a few more Amazon/Swampstalker starters made than reprint Scalders or reprint Frostwings.
See I knew you would get it wrong. No one even guessed it right. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Wings are only on dragons. Fly is the SAI I think you meant, Jim. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

I thought you had said the Ormyrr in one of the dice discussion topics.
I must have missed something on that topic...
And yes, the answer is fly. _________________ Former Destroyer, son of Ddice

How so?
Fly:
12 races: 3+2+1+1+1+3+1+1+12+3=28
DK: 5
Eldarim: 6
Total: 39
Smite:
12 races: 2+3+3+1+2+4+3+0+2+2+1+1=24
DK: 5
Eldarim: 12
Total: 41

...I forgot about Eldarim...
And Smite is only on 11 races; there is no Feral smite. It doesn't change the total smites, but you said 12 and wrote 11 numbers.
Okay...Now to defend my answer of Fly by exploiting the way in which I phrased the question:
I meant the specific design of the SAI, which would then be the bat-wing fly... I think _________________ Former Destroyer, son of Ddice

Nope, you'd still be wrong. Jim and I have both looked very closely at all the icons as they were designed. Each race has a different fly icon. For that matter, several of the races have two different fly icons on the different dice in the race. If you want to "weasel" the question that way, then Smite and Sneak Attack are the hands-down winners...... All the Eldarim have the same Smite and Sneak Attack, that's 12 dice right there. Otherwise, every race has a different Smite. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Except that with Frosties, there are also 12 dice with the same fly design, so...I'm...still...wrong...

Yes, I wrote 11 numbers because I left out the zero total from the Feral. I edited my post above to make you happy....

Don't forget, the Dragonkin Champions also use the same Smite symbol as the Eldarim. That's five more for the Smite total.

Thanks Brad, I forgot about the Dragonkin Champions. So the final answer is:
Smite
Basically, it's simple. Each mold for each size and number of sides of the production dice is completely separate from any other mold. However, the promo molds are just a bunch of sides. The 6 sides can be mixed any number of ways. Thus all the promo dice variations. Not something you will ever see on the racial molds. Ok, the Goblin misprints are only way you would see a "variation". That was because they put the two halves of the molds together reversed relative to one another. I've been told the molds are now keyed to make that impossible. _________________ You can never have too many dice.
