I can make the changes tonight...

besides adding....
Quote:
(c) The turn sequence will need a step G (spell and effect expiration) if they use spells like Watery Double.

it is ready to use...
the rest of the changes are just minor tweaks

So it is ready to use if you don't have time

it is an 11x17 color pdf

I can post it if you want...
but the changes will need to be made tonight...
so did you want the first draft...?
or wait for the changes.

I just printed a Novice layout ...
I printed it at 100% on 12x18 instead of 11x17
has a little more border that way...
looks nice.... Very Happy

I recomend a 11x17 wax printer with a heavier stock
the wax will not smear if it gets wet.

I did a test run on some stardard paper:

The results:

The printer margins cut off about an 1/8" of the lead edge at full 100%
on the printer I used.
This cropping cut into the image slightly.
If using 97% or fit to margin,
all the image is centered and looks fine.
So the Boxes should be moved in slightly,
or use the fit to margin setting when printing.
I will be bring some samples to the Windy city meeting.
Why am I bringing this up?
If a large run were to be made,
I would suggest fit to border,
as not to print a large amout and have them all cropped.

The green is a little dark.
Although it looks fine,
it's just darker than the screen,
and that is just on the wax printer that I used.

For a Novice event, are we playing exactly by the printed Demo rules? Because I'm having trouble assembling armies that match the description-not with six-sided units or dragons, but getting those three specific monsters and terrains. Now I can afford to buy a few spare terrains (of course, I'll try to trade some of my "stock" terrains for them) and even the monsters (since I have enough Sprite Swarms for what I want). But for many players running a tournament, coming up with specific demo armies for a Novice event could be a problem. I probably only need 8-12 total, but even so having a dozen of each terrain is a pain. Can we substitute other terrains (except Standing Stones, which is not on demo rule sheet)?

I'm just a bit too busy right now to deal with this thread. Steve, could you go back over the discussion in this thread, and:

1) Summarize what has been decided so far.
2) Summarize what is still not clear or undecided.

Thanks!

I'll have to repost the Novice Sheet...as I am in a process of creating new things...and patching up older ones...
so the Novice sheet needs to be reposted.
sorry.

Jim that would be awesome. I was just a bit away from working on a demo sheet myself, but if you have one already, thats so much better.

SFR logo is not a problem. I'd prefer it actually. Better yet would be the Dragon Dice logo. May be hard to find a place for it...
