Wilding expires.

Feralize: Bring back the Antelope. (he was feralized into the Fox, so he should have been in the DUA)
City: Promote Antelope to Fox-folk (reminder: Antelope back to DUA)

OUCH... well I figured I won't get off easy for long... (and was hoping you'd suffer a breath... <sigh>)

Blue Breath: Fox and D. Knight... 9 manuvers total... both die.
Black Breath: Wolverine and D. Rider die.
Throw away ID's and only roll for saves...

Rolling vs. Dragon Attack:
D. Knight: 4 Fly; Adept: 1 ID; Warlock: 2 Magic; Necromancers: 4 Cantrip, 3 Melee; Wolverine: 2 Save; Scorcher: 2 ID

6 Saves so far and a Cantrip (which I'm assuming still functions despite the "only roll for saves", right??)
Cantrip a Flaming Armor on the Wolverine.

So... Wolverine: 2 Saves --(F. Armor)--> --(8th)--> 8 Saves
D. Knight: 4 Fly --(8th)--------------------> 8 saves

16 Saves total...
Jaw+claw = 12+6 = 18
18 - 16 = 2 damage left to take... Scorcher bites it.

First March: twiddle my thumbs...

Reserves: if I leave I give it to you, so, I'm gonna hold! (where's River when you need her to take a turn? ... sorry re-watched the movie recently)
So, I stay put... and draw the fire, think you can avenge me Jim Wink

I end my turn.

as it's not an army roll...but an individual roll.

Yup, I meant that for the later Dragon Attack Roll... the saves vs. the blue breath gave me 6 Moves and 3 Moves respectively... which didn't do much to save them. The other two didn't get to save, so no chance for IDs...

Thanks for the reminder though Jim!

Considering the blue breath is in effect, I can't roll a counter-manuever
[Rolling for the hell of it... I got a D. Knight face and 2 Move on the Warlock, which would have doubled to 10 to stop you, but seeing as I can only save... EDIT: wait the face won't have counted from the black breath anyway..... le sigh]

After the Dragon Attack I only had one Wolverine left... also the last rider died for one of the breaths too...

For the smite: last Wolverine and Adept die.... then time to save....

Left in my army: Scorcher, D. Knight, Warlock, 2 Necromancers

Save roll:
Scorcher: 2 Save; D. Knight: 4 Fly; Warlock: 2 Move; Necromancers: 3 Melee, 4 Cantrip

Cantrip: Flaming Armor on the Scorcher

8 Scorching Touch back at ya!!! (2 monsters gotta die)

20 - 8 = 16 damage against 13 h.... <a>

Send the Unicorn and Fireshadow to the DUA to satisfy the losses from the Scalding Touch effect.

Reserve Movement: Retire the Campaign Army (2 x Leopard Riders, 2 x Trolls) to Reserve.

End the turn.

Good game, Raven. You are a savvy player that keeps going to the end (be it bitter or sweet). That was a good army you played!

Raven: 20 - 8 == 12 (not 16). So you have at least 1 health left. Since you only have 2 and 3 health units, taking the maximum damage leaves you with a single 2 health unit.

So, the lone Warlock stares down the trio of dragons!! Bring it!

Thanks Dan! This was a version of an army I had thought about bringing to a con... couldn't make it though.... maybe one year...

After Jim and Dan square off, I'd love any thoughts on tweaking this army! Very Happy

The Warlock waves at Jim's arrives army.

Then as the Ivory Dragon buffets his wings before taking to the sky, the Warlock is beaten into the ground (rolled 2 Magic) and expires, even as he shakes his fist in defiance...

[Dan you're up, but roll your dragons if you would.... you might get a treasure and/or a wings that could change things.... otherwise, I'm just dead.... for real this time]

{5 damage vs. 3 h, not much hope for this dude.... even if I get a wings/wings/treasure that's 10 damage vs. a Necromancer... I might be able to get in a parting shot with a Cantrip, but won't survive....}

Now that I realize that the Dragon Attack Phase for Raven was his last turn, the Flatlands City terrain will turn down to 7. My turn follows.

2nd March: Roll Reserves for magic:
