I don't know how this will work in an online format, but let's try it.

2-4 players.

All players construct an army - 24 health (50% magic max), no magestorm, no promo, no eldarim, production dice only, etc... (ask if you want to know if a die is legal beyond that)

Then in a blind draw the armies are given out to players, but you are not allowed to play the army you brought.

Play to two 8th faces.

I'll give it a go. The potential negative (if you view it as such) is that since you know you won't be "stuck" with the army you design, you could attempt to deliberately construct a poorly focused army. Is that the type of "inspiration" you had in mind?

Well I would think you should be able to customize your setup....
being that you would know one army and it's terrains...
but now I know 2 armies...
but who's to say your army is not the one I will be playing with...
so to be consistent...I'll expose my army as well....

Not Much magic...not much saves...
Dispel and Feralization are your best chances.. Confused

The screech might help out since there is not that much health in play...
but it's really a missile army.

I had not originally considered the terrains and dragon as part of the army. I thought whoever got saddled with the army could at least make the best out of it and choose that was considered best for it, but after piMaster prompted me for the terrains and dragon, I added them in.

ah, the big bag o' junk concept. sometimes it can be better than you would expect...

so if Pi will randomly give the armies out and Jim wants to handle the board, we will be good to go.

I will make a slight change to the setup that Jim proposed. I want to seperate my Owls, so move one owl to the Hoard and move a vulture and falcon to the campaign.
