Great News! The event organizers of the Portland Comic Book Show (Second Genesis) have just given me a free table to Demo DD this weekend. Now, I'm not sure how much of impact we'll make but you know me, I'll promote us anytime, anywhere . Traditionally there have been many booths that sell MTG and other games, so I'll give it a try, see what happens. Yes, I'll be wearing the company shirt (Thanks, Chuck! ), and handing out flyers and free dice (after demos of course, Thanks, Cliff! )
If you have any last minute tips, I'd appreciate any and all help.
I'll keep ya posted! Wish me luck!

Well, it's official. Dragon Dice is listed as one of the exhibitors/dealers on the Portland Comic Book Show website! They're hyping this as the "best comic book show ever" (for the Portland area). They're expecting a large crowd, I hope they're right. I'll let ya know how it goes.
Thanks for all of your support,

The show went well for me. Fortunately, I've collected/saved enough empty boxes of old & new product to have an OK display. I accomplished what I was hoping for. I found around 30 people in my area who seemed interested in the game, and they were familiar with at least one of the 2 retailers who support DD. I handed out dice to them after a brief overview/demo of the game. I'm looking forward to seeing how many new players we get from this one show.
Here's a few pictures from the show.

I made a donation to the charity that the Cloud City Garrison were fund raising for and they agreed to pose/attempt to play DD. Good Times!
Also, could you tell that my booth was right next to a caricaturist? I had to give him something to do or he would have spent all of his money on comics.. oh wait, he did do that !
Thank You All for your support,
