Looking for another 36-point game with no Magestorm! and no promos. One-on-one or multiplayer is fine, and any skill level is invited. (Other) new players in particular are encouraged!

If you have lot of patience (and time), I would try a one-on-one game. I am totally new, I palyed about 10 games in my life, so sometimes I have problems with rules as well. I own only a set of goblins (10-4-3-1, with an additional leopard rider and 2 additional trolls), so I would play with them.

I have only time at nights at central european time, so maybe we won't meet online Smile (I didn't find where you live)

I have plenty of both. I live in Dexter, Michigan, USA. I am a beginner, too, so we can help each other.

I have absolutely no problem with a "post-when-you-can" type of game, so your location is not a problem Smile

You don't want to roll terrains just yet. First the winner of the horde roll has to decide whether to go first or pick the frontier terrain. Once that is decided, then roll the terrains.

Chuck is quite right - I apologize, I was implying this step in there. I figured (not surprisingly), you'd win the Horde roll, then choose whether you wanted to go first or not. Chuck is right, though, either of our choice of terrain might theoritically depend on what was rolled.

Thanks Chuck.

Nice work with the board...
I like the simplified Summoning pool (gold reserves).

Cool

Thanks, Jim. I mostly pirated it from Cliff, though - my only change was to stick Dragons in reserves instead of DUA. Smile

Nice board! Smile Jim: Thank you for Darth-agnan Very Happy Looks cool, like in real life!

So my Horde roll: Hmm, is this realy a horde of cavalry units? Shocked

Wolf Rider: 2 Melee, Leo1: 4 Melee, Leo2: 2 Save, Darth-agnan: 4 Melee, Marauder: 3 Melee.

Leo3: 3 Rend= 3 Maneuvers

I choose going first

Not surprisingly, I choose my frontier - Coastland Temple

Frontier - 6-melee
Home (Mine) - 2-missile

I'll update the board in a sec.

Not a good steup for me Sad

So, my first march: Manuever at my Smile home (up) - roll the wardog rider- One Maneuver

Try to shoot you - melee - fail.

Second March: Maneuver at frontier: (up) Troll1 4 Maneuver, Hedge wizard ID- 2 Maneuver, Trickster ID 1 Maneuver (all the others saved)

That's 7 Maneuver

Try to hit sink your boats: Troll1 4 Melee, Death Mage1 ID - 3 Melee, Trickster 1 Melee Smile All the others Saved again

That's 8 Melle

Don't prepost whether you're going up or not, it might make a difference to whether I oppose or not.

Oppose on maneuver-

Only six maneuver - it goes up to 7-melee

Saving 8 melee- Yuck

Bowman - ID - 1 save
Guard - ID - 1 save
Evoker - 1 maneuver - 1 save (Coral Elf)
Evoker - 1 maneuver - 1 save (Coral Elf)

Taking 4 damage - Archer and 2 Evokers

Reserves?
