"Game Day" has been scheduled on Saturday, November 13th, from 10 AM to 10 PM at the Fire Hall in Washington, New Jersey. This event is completely new, and is being organized by Penny Shaul. Attendees are welcome to bring any games they wish to play and share. There will also be a "swap table" organized for attendees that wish to bring a game they no longer play and swap it for something else.

I am planning on attending to run some Dragon Dice events and demonstrations.

There are no tickets to purchase. Attendence is free - but if you plan on attending, let me know or PM me, so I can let her know so she can plan out the space accordingly.

The address where the event will be held is:
Washington Fire Department
100 Belvidere Ave
Washington, NJ 07882

Aside from demonstrations, I intend to run the following events if I have at least 2 participants:

11:00 AM "Single Race": This is an Intermediate Level event. Players must bring a 36 health army from only one race (and 2 dragons and 2 major terrains for your Summoning Pool), with no more than one of any single monster, two of any single die, three of any single uncommon, four of any single common, and no more than 18 health of magicians. Any major terrain with white icons may be used. (I'll be bringing my Intermediate playmats.)

1:30 PM "Pre-constructed Starters": This is an Intermediate Level event. Players must bring an army of 2 races, each of 18-health, constructed like what you would find in a 2-player starter set (and 2 dragons and 2 major terrains for your Summoning Pool). Each 18-health army must consist of 1 monster, 1 rare, 3 uncommons, and 5 commons. No duplicates among the dice, except for one common die. Any major terrain with white icons may be used.

4:00 PM "Uneasy Alliance": This will be a multi-player Intermediate event. Each player will use a 36-health "Single Race" army and be teamed up with a partner that has an army of a different race to play against another pair of players that find themselves in the same circumstances. Each player still selects his Home Terrain and a candidate for the Frontier Terrain. Army deployment is the same as a typical multi-player game. Each team conducts their turn together, but one team-mate determines the First March and the other team-mate determines the Second March, with both team-mates rolling whenever their dice are at the same location for that same maneuver, action, or response.

7:30 PM "Players' Choice": The players will decide the game format.

Dan, I have to check my son's marching band schedule, but I'd love to come up for the day. I grew up in Washington, about five blocks from the fire station. Let me get back to you. If I come, I might be able to bring Robert with me.

Is this still on, Dan? Jonathan has a band competition, but Robert and I are still hoping to make it up for the day.

The first "Game Day" event went off as planned at the Washington Boro Municipal Building (2nd Floor), adjacent to the Fire House. I would say attendence was 25 gamers over the course of the day from 10 AM to 10 PM.

I had 4 players for the "Single Race" event, none for the "Constructed Starters", and 4 players for the second "Single Race - Uneasy Alliance" event. All were new players or had played only one or two games as prior experience.

Rafael Shaul (Dwarves) was the victor of the first event and Dylan Stratton (Coral Elves) and Conner Stratton (Lava Elves) were the victors in the second event.

A second "Game Day" might be attempted in January. If so, I'll post details.
