We will follow the rules for sportsmanship of the SFR-Tournament rules 2011. You have to bring your complete dice and playing stuff with you. An entrance-fee of a few euro has to be paid for the Con, the tournament is free. All published armys and the magestorm-expansion are allowed, but no battlefields.
Meeting time is 9.30am, start of the first match 10.00 am. Estimated finishing time will be 5pm. Beginners are welcome, people from other countrys too ! We will offer introduction rounds too.
To get a starting place send an Email to me and an armylist with all the dice you would like to use till the 15th of may.
We look forward to meet you in june in hamburg ( a beautiful city by the way)… |

I am really tempted to come over there.
My first born will be a new member of this world for a month by then so I am not really sure if I can leave mother and child alone.
regards,

AS I mentioned before I am not sure (well I guess I just can't make it because of the kid) But is Spiel in essen a good show for a game of DD then?
We could make that the european championship!
cheers,

@ dutchjohn
Is your child born ?? Congrats !!
I don´t think the Spiel in essen is a really good platform. Remember it is extremly full there and it would be not cheap to get some space there.
So perhaps it´s good for demonstrating the game to reach a lot of users, but for a tournament you need a good atmosphere including the possibility to concentrate (sometimes you need to ,-)), so a lot of visitors like in essen could disturb the players.
European championships are an interesting idee, let´s follow that.
If the tournament runs good this year, it would offer a larger tournament at the same location next year.
Greetings !! |
