I am going to send him the shield/battleground pamplets and a copy of cast of fate.
does anyone have the unpublished novels (I've heard of two), these are just barely cannon as they were written by random tsr employees.
or did Mark write anything that's still around? _________________ Multiplayer Champion Gencon11/Battlefest Champion(tied) GenCon10/World Champion GenCon07/National Champion Origins05/Intermediate Champion GenCon02/Novice Champion Origins99 |

I'll zip together some stuff. I'll PM where to get it. It's likely to be huge.... _________________ You can never have too many dice.

I have not had the time to read it yet, but who wrote chill wind? It seems many people on the forums like it. I would really like to incorporate everyone's ideas into a massive story. I also like Jim's stuff he wrote about the different dragons. I would like to have peoples permission and input if I were to continue their stories. I have so many ideas I want to make myself look like a fool if I write something that completly negates the point of certain races and spells _________________ 2nd Place World Championship Gecon 2011 (no loses) |

Chill Wind was written by Joe Joiner, a Dragon Dice fan and writer for a few other games. The story became the foundation of a long-running Internet game experience. I'm going to hazard a guess that he'd be happy to give his permission for you to use his material for your game. I should have the complete CW saga somewhere, since I published it in my old webzine years ago.
I also should have some stories and lore from that 'zine (The Dragonmaster). Some may be up on my web site, although I haven't fixed the links there. I'll see what I can pull together for you.
I nay have a few other snippets of Joe's work as well, and my backstory for the Acolytes (semi-official).
Don't expect them immediately. We have a family health crisis at the moment, and a lot of my free time is claimed for the at least the next few days. _________________ Steve "DDice" Braun

Does anyone maybe not have an old story they wrote, but might like to come up with a new one? I am accepting any ideas, if you think of something cool, or something that has not been explained yet please let me know. _________________ 2nd Place World Championship Gecon 2011 (no loses) |

Shieldbearer: Escort
Insight on #24 Escort:
As hard as he tried to disguise his Goblin Traits...
he no longer could wear shoes...
they were too tight for his feet...
and even though he was a shieldbearer carrying a CE shield...
his maneuver icons were that of a Goblin.
Likewise...his bushy hair was far too difficult to hide under his sheik bandanna headdress...
to help with his disguise...he used Lava Elf eyes in his Goblin mask...
that should really keep them guessing...
he was Eldarim however...
majestic....
Be sure to see the Royal Order of Eldarim |

Ok all, i am currently doing some cartography work for Zero_Dynasty. I have made a LARGE world map, incorporated some of his mine and our ideas into the rest of the UNKNOWN world. Coming up with cities for those areas is easy. But i need some ideas for Cities that existed in the in the near time after "Cast of Fate" circa 575-600 AC. (after creation) Keeping in mind that army of dead never happened. ( On the last page of the original copy Pam woke up to find Bobby was not dead he was in the shower and the entire season was a dream.) Obviously i cannot show you the map or it will spoil the surprise. so basics will do. So yeah cities with predominate dwellers. First four races. Names for rivers, names for lakes, names for mountain regions, names for Troglands, what ever you got.! Thanks all.
Hopefully we can make an RPG that all can love. |

When I first started working on my boardgame concept a few years ago, I decided to base the first mapboards on the Chill Wind world:
Balgavarr Reaches: This Vahgan city is in the heart of the Kafnysan Mountains. It is located 10 days north of Tulgesh.
Bigwet Swamps: East of the Kafnysan Mountains and north of the Plaguelands. They are also northwest of the Uruzak mountains, a volcanic region home to King Saugor's Morehl™. The swamps are one of the homelands of the Goblins.
Deepmire: A swampland two days west from Tulgesh, and home to Swampstalkers and Goblins.
Gloomwater Swamps: East of the Kafnysan Mountains and west of the Plaguelands, the swamps are a homeland for Goblins.
Kafnysan Mountains: Far to the northwest of the Plaguelands, and west of the Bigwet Swamps. Balgavarr Reaches is within the Kafnysan Mountains.
Plains of Seshara: Former home of the Feral, and the abandoned Amazon city of Thurisa.
The Plaguelands: Far to the southeast of the Kafnysan Mountains, south of Bigwet Swamps, and near the Shining Sea. This land of warped earth, twisted trees, smoking craters, and puddles of boiling mud is the home of the Scalders.
Shadowlands: A large frozen area far to the north of Balgavarr Reaches, and homeland of Frostwings and the Undead.
Thuria: Homeland of the Coral Elves where the king resides.
Tulgesh: Coral Elf city within 10 days south of Balgavarr, across the Plains of Seshara.
Uruzaks: Home of the lava elves. This is a separate mountain range due east of the Kafnysans, and remains actively volcanic.
I’ve included most of those places, plus names of other regions I’ve needed to incorporate in my playtest boardgame and tile maps:
Alacarte: Flatlands Watchtower.
Aldenwood: Swampland Grove.
Ashzod: Wasteland City
Balgavarr Reaches: Highlands Standing Stones (based on the artifacts hidden there)
Bigwet: Swamplands City
Castle Rock: Highlands Tower
Crown Point: Wasteland Tower
Deepmire: Swamplands Standing Stones
Dunbar: Coastlands Tower
Farpoint: Feyland Tower
Feldspar Pass: Highlands Dragon Lair
Fenrazel: Feylands City
Gallistar: Wastelands City
Gloomwater: Swamplands Temple
Golden Meadows: Flatlands City
Grazekands: Flatlands Temple
Hadenport: Feylands Standing Stones
Highlands: Highlands Temple
Kafnysan Mountains: Highlands Watchtower
Lundower: Coastlands Standing Stones
Maris: Coastlands City
Morlock: Coastlands Dragon Lair
Plains of Seshara: Flatlands Tower
Rik-Tik: Feylands Temple
Thuria: Coastlands Vortex
Togo: Flatlands Standing Stones
Tulgesh: Coastlands Temple
Upland Bayou: Swamplands Tower
Uruzaks: Highlands City
Verencrag: Wasteland Standing Stones
Aside from the names used in Chill Wind, the rest have no Dragon Dice "roots", other than what may become part of the "Campaigns of Esfah". You might find then convenient to use in the RPG game. _________________ Daniel Burkley

Hey thanks. Many of the cities you gave me are in the future of esfah. and will be really helpfull on the next two maps i am making!! I am currently making a map in the time period of just after Amazons and The Undead have been created. A year before the fire walkers and feral. I will have to filter through and see what ones would have been around in that time period. But for as in the future, you have saved quite a bit of time!! When i am finished i will share and see what everyone thinks! |
