hello all,
I come back to the forum now and then.
You know what I was thinking? If you search for dragon dice on youtube you'll find some ancient ad videos and that's it.
I think creating videos for youtube, is some cheap way to advertise the game.
I'm thinking to video showing unboxing, basic rule explanation etc, but also: when you do demos, or tournaments, or even friday night wars, you can set up the camera and grab a video and push it on the old internet.
Your worst video can't be worst than searching for DD and find almost nothing...
just my 2 cents.
cheers
[edit: added some "s" here and there... uops, my english is bad] |

If you're talking about

That's some really wicked stuff~!!! WHERE did that video come from??? That's EXACTLY the kind of stuff we need to get DD back into the spot light! |

That's the intro video for the old (i.e. Windows 95) video game. I'm pretty sure that SFR does not have the rights to that (too bad huh?). _________________ You can never have too many dice.

But far from being currently realisable ; ) We just need the enthusiasm to pull it off. |

| If there are any events in VA, someone let me know. I've got a GoPro and some killer ideas. |

I found the old TSR website on Internet Archive http://web.archive.org/web/19980122171106/http://www.tsrinc.com/games/ddice/index.html in the upper left corner there is a link for an unused tv commercial (ddad.mov) that was not archived.
If that could be found it might be the basis of a new commercial either online or on tv?
If nothing else it could be added to all the other introduction videos. |

I've had that around for quite awhile (1997). It's the ad for the BattleBox. Not sure we can really use it for anything. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

| Is it something that can be posted some place for historical purposes to show what might have been? |
