No mages? Then the other thing here to exploit is her lack of saves. Amazons are hard pressed for saves. Go first win the hord roll with your 9 pts. of calv. and put your ranged in the frontier at the start, then give her amazon a quick shot and that should be crippling to her right off the bat. _________________ Will

| Okay how about cracking a 36-point Mage-heavy goblins with 3 Trolls? Feels like whatever I do is just baiting a Regenerate. |

Best thing to do is ignore them. If your playing treefolk spam cast "leaving" from reserves and just keep moving the other 2 terrains up and re act accordingly. Unless your trying to wipe this person out by way of attrition its not really a problem. If your strat was attrition well thats a rough spot, but even in a devils game, as treefolk, just simply move all your dudes to reserves when your opponent does and your mass meets their mass on a 7th face, they will never get it from you and just go with the attrition strat and give em a good ol' fashion beat down. Nothing is perfect, and w/o seeing the games happenings as they progress, this is just a very simplified way to go. _________________ Will

| That's kinda what I thought. It just feels a little like solitaire that way, but c'est la vie. Need some Elder Dryad in a bad way. |

I mean the game play itself evolves big time. Ya for a while you will start to win just letting your opponent do the same thing over and over however they too will change strats and thus it wont be so 'solo' after that. _________________ Will

Three Trolls are hard to kill, but not hard at all to out maneuver.
the safest way to kill them is with 4 fingers. They don't get to roll that way.
If you are against a magic heavy army, just use Dancing Lights and some Ash storms (need Red magic). That will stop their magic production very nicely. _________________ Multiplayer Champion Gencon11/Battlefest Champion(tied) GenCon10/World Champion GenCon07/National Champion Origins05/Intermediate Champion GenCon02/Novice Champion Origins99 |
