... is AMAZING! I started using Highlands Standing Stones to access some more offensive magic, and Dancing Lights seriously won my last game. Cutting my opponent's magic from ~16 to ~8 makes a HUGE difference.

Ya red magic is a big deal. Lava elves are king big time. They have fearful flames if your opponent is locked behind a temple, you cannot hide from them. With my Undead I never leave home without a Highlands standing stones. In fact if I go mage/ranged with my SS's I use one too, as both of those classes in that race have no maneuvers to utilize the swamps anyway.
