That's quite an impressive display. All of my stuff is sitting in storage containers and Plano boxes.

I see you've got a few unopened TSR Scalder kickers - that's the one I don't have Mad

Don't worry, I only had 250 at one time too! Wink

My number one favorite thing about Dragon Dice is how they look. In a quantity like this, they really do look pretty special all laid out. Until I bought this China hutch for $50, I was storing them in these boxes:

They worked great.... 12 health of each common, uncommon, and rare exactly fit in one of the smaller boxes when you stacked them in. Then the monsters were stored with the monsters of 2 other races in the "monsters" sections. But when Eladrim came out, I pretty much ran out of room. And then the Battlefields made it even worse. So I was going to add another box, but then decided to buy the China hutch when I saw it. When I kept them in the boxes, sometimes I would take them out and organize them on a large table. I just liked seeing them out.. in rank and file! The China hutch lets me see them the way I like all the time. Of course, its not nearly as portable, but I don't really get to play that much. This past GenCon was the first time I ever played Dragon Dice outside of my house, so the lack of portability is not much of an issue for me.

I actually have enough extras that I can usually create armies out of them without having to tap into my displayed collection. But, for some dice, I need to take them out of the China hutch. Guess I need to buy more dice!

Yeah... I am trying to figure out what to do with those. I bought 6, along with another guy who also got 6. I am definitely keeping 2 unopened to go with the other unopened kickers I have. I am planning on having 2 unopened of each, and I now have the hard ones out of the way (TSR Scalders/FrostWings/Swamp Stalkers). Out of the remaining 4 TSR Scalders, I already opened one and got an Ettercap and Charkin. That instantly took me back to 1996... and my frustrations with this same product then. So, I have 3 more left. I am trying to figure out if I want to open them or sell them on Ebay. I am not sure if I could get my asking price though, so I may not be able to sell them. But the longer I don't open them, the longer I have a chance that there is an Unseelie in one of them!

This is a perfect example of Schrödinger's cat. As long as you don't open it, there might be a fairy in there.

However, if you did have a fairy in there then the ebay auction that started this thread...

lets just say that I'll help keep the sharp objects away from you. might be better not to open them...
