This die is TOO amazing, if your not playing single race Firewalkers. It works great with most armies, even some that dont even synergize magic with it.

You add Flashfire/dispel 2pt hide, and possibly burning hands/windwalks.
Of course another cantrip and the great Firewalking. In my opinion is the best of the terrain hopping SAI's.

Its continuously getting voted the worst die by many of my dice rolling colleagues. I think this is true because it accounts for 3 pts. of magic and has such a random distro of icons.

I conscider myself very pragmatic, in all but my gaming pursuits. In that , I have to go with the romantic. Its all about the theme and flavor when I build an army..thats why all of mine are "pyrimid build" . For one thing , I think it gives the odd newer player that I play an even chance and as a secondary it allows me to try almost any combination of dice without feeling like "mister suitcase". Razz

P.S. And I have to disagree with you on a minor point Stormy. Winning is not always fun, especially when you are playing in a tourny with someone who is 30 yrs your junior. This game, and any game IMO, should be a friendly and fairly even competition, and as such the army builds should be limited to make it a more even playing field..at least to those without a suitcase full of dice. That said, I have always enjoyed playing you , Skawilly, Dproman and Nmacoy even though I get my butt handed to me 3 out of 4 times because I refuse to give into the temptation of going mostly rare for the SAI effect. Also, "Losing" with style can be just as much fun...lol

On a side note, If the official rules made "Pyrimid" building an official rule of the game, SFR would probably sell more starter/booster packs. Shocked
