Ive never been to a Gencon before but would love to go to one. I was wondering if I could get a rundown of what I could expect if I do make the trip?

I really wish all the stuff we had planned for GenCon was something that could happen at BGGCon Razz

The latter I'm actually planning on attending. The former, if I went, I'd have to make Saturday and Sunday only.

But there's so much good stuff, I might be convinced. I have until June or something for early tickets Wink

I'd also be interested in knowing what's involved, though if I went, I may just be a full-day participant.

for those who are coming to help at Gencon. if you've worked for us previously then you've gotten a white Treefolk tshirt. This year you will get a one of the new stone blue.

I have on my list Dusty and Skawlliy and Shoe (besides the BoD who are special). Shoe will get his shirts at pax. Dusty and Skawilly will get two blue and two white. (while supplies and sizes last - meaning Dusty, sorry we may have no XL whites left, just L and 2X - lets work that out)

Everyone must wear their shirts while running an event or demoing in the booth.

we will try to coordinate to wear the same color on the same day (thurs and sun - white; fri and sat - blue)

back to packing.

Anyone can do a pickup game and anyone can participate in a schedule event when they aren't scheduled to work.

for those who work pretty much all day. we will play in the events scheduled in the evening and by then its 11pm.
