I have bought a new house and i am doing most of the remodeling work on it myself. If I were to appear that would mean elves would have come out this coming month and finish this job because the week after the second of june we are moving in.

So i am sorry but please do not count on me even though I really wanted to attend. I will however make more then a simple effort to come for the 2013 version.

@ drachenwurfel I am working with the organization to get us into the largest game show in the Netherlands (nothing compared to spiel)

Sad news: I have decided that I should not come to Hamburg to compete in the tournament. I would have loved to come, as not only am I sure that I would have a great day playing dragon dice, but it would also have been a great opportunity to visit my sister in Lübeck. However, with the huge time-investment the trip would make, I've decided that my (currently super-busy) study comes first. Failing to finish my courses before July would mean a 3000 euro fine and another whole year of study-delay (and all the misery/costs that comes with it).
I'm really bummed out by not going, but it seems to be one of those cases where it seems prudent to have my rationality prevail over my emotions.
I hope you guys will have a great time, and if my schedule should change, you'll be the first to know.

Only a few hours now.....Most played army will be Goblins. I try to mail some Impressions during The tournament !

To my point of view it was a great tournament.

Here are the Proud winners:

1st Günter "Drachenwürfel " Sellmann with Goblins

2nd Marc Wittkowski with Goblins

3rd Bongo Bongard with Treefolk

Congrats to them all !

I have seen a lot of very good and close matches.
Due to some retirements during the last week we were eight players playing in two groups,the best players went into the ko-system. There were a lot of visiters, too, but not so many as last year i think.

Günter did it again, although he haven´t won all of his matches ,-).

Please write short reports about your games Drachenwürfel !

Thanks to Jens for the tournament. Great job.

I reached my targets:

2nd : not to be the last again, like last year .I think I'm the second last this year. Loose two games and one tie . Wink

1st : to have fun. The day was so fast over, unbelivable.

I saw some good tactics. Beware of my Lavaelfs in the next game.

@Jens: I don't think that there where less people looking for the games this year. It was good that one of the dice dealer on the main floor had Dragondice.
@Drachenwürfel: Still want know what in my Starter was ?

Also the idea to have 2 or 3 tournaments next year sounds great.
