Hello All,

PAX Prime 2012 will (most likely) be held during Labor Day weekend August 31st - September 3rd.

I will definitely need volunteers this year! More than in years past. We have plans for something big this year! Shocked We will start making plans just as soon as PAX East is over (next month).
Please contact me ASAP to put your name on the list. Space is limited!

Thank You for your time!
Dave

Calling All volunteers!
PAX Prime tickets are now on sale and will go extremely fast (they usually sell out by the end of May)! This will be our 3rd PAX Prime and things look to be bigger and better than ever (I hope) Very Happy.
I will have a very limited number of 'volunteer' passes available, so I need definite commitment ASAP. I've already had 1 cancellation, so, I need your help! Please let me know if you can help out in any way!
Thank you so much!
Dave

Would love to volunteer, if it's not too late to get in on that. And might have other volunteers available if you have need of them.

I need as many absolutes/commitments as possible. So far, NO ONE has committed to being able to help for sure. So your offer is greatly appreciated! Very Happy
I need to get final numbers of volunteers to PAX within the next week or so.
Thank You!

Okay, well I can confirm for certain that my dad and I will be able to volunteer, and have at least 3 others who would be interested/eager. If I can get more information on the timing and amount of time you'll need volunteers to cover, that would be helpful.

I have two firm commitments to volunteer, but would like some additional information about what that commitment means. Confused Thanks!

And to avoid things being double-counted, I feel I should clarify that ANWGuy is the dad in question. Razz

Unfortunately, no. I'm still waiting to hear from PAX officials. I will post something as soon as I hear from them. Thank you for your patience.

Finally! Something to report (I hope). According to 'word of mouth' from Reed Exhibitions, we have a demo table for PAX Prime 2012, I just haven't asked SFR Inc. for confirmation yet. Also, (this is big news), there will be a DD tournament this year at PAX! This is basically an exaggerated 'demo' with a potential of 36 new players for this one event! They (Reed Exhibitions) claim that it will be listed in the program guide. This will be a first for us Northwest DD PAXers, but I'm looking forward to the challenge.
Here's where you come in, I have a very limited supply of badges (2 for sure, maybe 3) for those willing to work. So, I need to hear from those of you who will definitely be able to make it to Seattle and help me out.
The schedule is 'roughly' 10a-? F, 10a-? Sat, 10a-4p(?) Sun. So we can run demos late into the night (until they kick us out at 2am, and yes that did happen to us Laughing).
Please let me know your schedule/plans and I'll try to work around them as best as I can.
Thank You so much in advance! Very Happy
Dave

This sounds like fun! I'm just learning (trying to find some people to expand my limited rules knowledge) but if I can pull off the trip to PAX I'll help out where I can.

Ack, sorry - it didn't email me a notification of your reply for some reason. I'm definitely still on board, and will do whatever I can to make things work out.

There is a Tournament scheduled for Saturday Night from 8p-12a! This is intended (IMHO) to be a beginner/teaching tournament. This tourney will be held off-site (from what I've been told). I would like to keep the demo table up and running during this time if we have enough volunteers. I will need at least one volunteer to help me with the tourney, but as with all conventions-the more volunteers the merrier! Laughing
Please let me know if you are available to help out, as I have a very limited number of badges!
So, it looks like NMcCoy and dproman so far.
Is there anyone else ?

Thanks,
Dave

I just got a message confirming that AJ is still intent on volunteering. He may be my ride.
