There's a famous religious text that explains a very deep truth, a truth that is very dear to me. It goes that roughly like this: "If Funky can't make it to the dice, the dice must come to Funky". And so it shall be done.

That is, unless nobody else in the neighbourhood wants to order along and split the shipping costs. That's why I started this post - to raise awareness for the Dutch Order 2012. So, who else has a nice wish-list with the new GenCon releases and wants to tag along? Even neighbouring countries (Germany! Cool) are welcome to join this order (though we might have to take a look at the additional costs. In fact, if there are more Germans than Dutch participants, it might be interesting to switch the order destination, but that's all future talk).

I am still wondering on what I want/need (who am I kidding I just want I need nothing)

so count me in on shipping cost reduction.

John

I may be interested, although I'm in Italy, but when will the order take place? (roughly...)

danilo,

It would be easier I think for you to order straight from SFR. I am not sure but shipping costs from NL to italy are not that cheap either. Well not cheap up to 2 Kg it's 8,50 with the extra shipping cost from the Us it all depends on how manny people will order. and how much plane space will be taken by the order.

let's wait for Dial F and his answer.

But do you have a wish list that's important.
cheers

Hey Danilo,

You're very welcome to join the Dutch Order, and it's probably cheaper as well. Though I will add the costs for sending it abroad, you'll still be better off. The shipping costs for a direct order are $39.40 (roughly 33 euro), whereas the costs when joining the Dutch Order are 33 / (number of participants, currently 3) + the costs for sending a package abroad. The minimum price for this is 8.50 euro, but I'd go for registered mail (I'm not sure if this is the right translation, but you'll be insured) it'll be 14.30 euro. As 33 / 3 = 11, and 11 + 14.30 is still cheaper than 33 euro, you'll probably be better of by joining us.

If there are too may participants there might be an issue with the weight/size, which might increase the cost. Last time, we managed to circumvent this problem by having the dice removed from their packages. However, everything went in very good consultation with both SFR and the participants. I'll make sure that you wont have to pay more than you'd have to when ordering directly from SFR.

My current wishlist:
8 x Goblin Kicker (I might make this a case, though someone could also join me to get a case-equivalent)
3 x Battle Chest
1 x 2-Player Starter - Amazon/Swamp Stalker
2 x Frostwing Promo Devastator
1 x Black/Green Hybrid Wyrm
2 x Blue/Green Hybrid Wyrm
2 x Red/Green Hybrid Wyrm
1 x Green/Gold Hybrid Wyrm (I'd like to have to, but I believe there is only one in stock)

If anyone is interested in amazons, I'm also interested in buying more Amazon/Swamp Stalker starters and splitting them.

edit: @ Drachenwurfel: Do you want to join in as well now SFR announced that the new product wont be available for GenCon (you are going, right)?

What ever you wanna do.

I ended up making an order from a european store, this way I am certain about final cost (no custom surprise, that is).

I withdraw, then, from the dutch order list Wink

I'm afraid I have to call off the order (though I suppose you figured as much from my absence in this topic). My girlfriend and I broke up, so I have to look for a new place to live, making life a good bit more expensive.
