I can't do every event, but I know that the sealed single race was a blast!

We had 16 players before we had to start turning people away (150% of capacity!)

There was a Magi and an Inferno pulled during the event.

It was a 30 health event and I ended up with 14 health of mages.

Shoe took first.
John Monet and I tied for second (he played treefolk).

the best game of the event was not any of the three of us. Someone who remembers more please give names, races and details. Here is what I remember. One player had all 30 of his health. The other player had two rare units alive and the other 24 health were dead. IE he was down to TWO dice. there were two terrains on a 7. He was ready to quit, but was convinced to go ahead and try. Boom Boom, he won both maneuvers and capture two 8th faces with only two dice!

Ok, youre 95% accurate, Mr. Wiggs.

So, he owned already one 8th face and had ONE unit on a 7th. (I too forget names). I was watching and helping while everyone else was rolling. This guy had no fire for victory left. I mean, he lost already 2 other games.

Any who it was his opponents turn and gave this guy a beat down on his own 8th face leaving but one single unit. His opponent then moves his other half out of reserves onto that 7th face (15 pts. vs 1 uncommon on the 7th and 15 pts. vs 1 rare on the 8th).

So the hero here was just done. No hope in his eyes. As I watched he was so down.... "This is not gonna happen".... "I just wanted to win 1 game".... "Its over...." kinda stuff.

So he throws his uncommon on the table. Out comes a face ID. 2 pts. of maneuvers.

His opponent picks up his 15 pts. of health. Before he pressed them down I said, "Listen, all you have to do is roll 3 maneuvers, if you dont I am going to announce this."

And so the dice rolled. 1 maneuver total. I have not heard such cheering.

So many people abuse the word epic, but this was true to the meaning.

I was only around Saturday. I run all the HeroScape events so I can only get away one day.
