The concept is to try to see whether my proposed change to monster make them overpowered or not. The thread with the idea : http://www.sfr-inc.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=4047

It cannot show by itself that the change is good, but it may show that it's bad.

1x Flatland Woods

The blade golem have be taken instead of the Frost Wolf because they serve similar purpose, but the blade golem can't be easily killed with spell or SAI. No Fireshadow because they suck at magic compared to dedicated mage, and I do need magic ; I am more interested to see how the salamander perform than the slight buff to fireshadow.

... And of course, after recounting, I see I was off by one health.

The spider rider on the home is an error and should be removed.

The blade golem is red (I forgot to mention it).

I am not at home, so I can't yet do the counter maneuver, but I believe the Wraith have another shot at not being buried : the red breath let you save to not be buried, and once you fail this first roll, you have another one because of the undead racial.

There is two dragonfoal at my home : one was invoked at my first magic action, and another one at my second magic action, along with the dragonsteed.

Dragon attack :
Red Blade Golem: 5 Melee
Salamander: 5 Melee
Scorpion Knight: 4 Melee
Spider Rider: 1 Melee

Everything die, which is especially painful for the golem. I suppose I shouldn't have underestimated the chance to get a jaw.

First march, magic at reserve :

Flashfire on my home army.

Wow and here I just went ahead and made basically the same miscalculation you did. God that hurts

Dragon Attack
Gold Medallion: 4 Sortie
Leopard Rider: 3 ID
Leopard Rider: 3 Save
Revenant: 2 ID

Wraith: 1 ID
13 saves max, which still means 5 points of damage and I can't kill the dragon without killing all my units. Its a sobering thought to realize that even with that roll, should you have gotten anything but a belly my entire army would still be dead.
so I lose a leopard rider and my two wraiths

First march, magic in reserve.
Infiltrator: 5 Melee
Salamander: 4 Melee
Scorpion Knight: 2 Maneuver
Spider Rider: 1 Maneuver
Troll: 4 Smite

Second march.
No maneuver, I hope to use some magic to save my dragon and/or force you to lose some unit.

Magic :
Ashbringer: 3 Magic
Ashbringer: 3 ID

Shadowchaser: 1 Maneuver
Sunburst: 2 Maneuver
Sunflare: 2 ID

It can create 22 red magic I believe. 9 point to bury your Leopard Rider, 12 for 6 Ash Storm to your home. Looked at the wrong board. Bury the two units for 6 and 8 ash storms instead. (I think I would have done 11 ash storm, but now I have seen my dragon roll, it seem mean)

Dragon roll :

WHAT. 27 damages. Note the first dragon which have done a breath, a jaw, and a tail+jaws ; it seem to like eating undead.
