|
|
Hello.
Still working on strange SAI situation.
I have a troll, and someone cast Tidal wave at me. I do a maneuver and save (avoidance) combined roll. My troll roll a Regenerate. Can I have 4 save ? My guess is not, because it's a maneuver avoidance roll, and "any non-maneuver avoidance
For reference, the definition of non-maneuver roll :
| Quote: |
During a non-maneuver roll: The SAI is applied when an army or unit is rolling for a specific result during any action, save roll or non-maneuver avoidance roll to prevent an effect from occurring.

Emphasis mine. |

I'm not going to answer the question, other than to say that I dislike the term avoidance and particularly the term save avoidance.
I tried to get rid of it once, but there was a reason (which I can't now recall) that we had to keep it for now. _________________ Multiplayer Champion Gencon11/Battlefest Champion(tied) GenCon10/World Champion GenCon07/National Champion Origins05/Intermediate Champion GenCon02/Novice Champion Origins99 |

| Tidal Wave is a save/maneuver avoidance combination roll (note save, not save avoidance - you are using saves to reduce damage). So yes, regenerate will give you four saves or you can bring back up to four health of dead units. |
