Question from our last game:
After a Coral Elf - Part Water spell target a Swampland:
Goblins and Swampstalkers can use their Racial abilities there? |

| Quote: | Part Water
Casting Cost: 5
Spell List: Coral Elf
Target any terrain. Until the beginning of your next turn, remove the water (green) element from the target terrain for
all but the caster’s components. As long as this spell is in effect, the effects of all terrain- targeting spells that require
the terrain to have the green (water) element are negated and the effects of all army-targeting spells that require the
terrain to have the green (water) element are negated except for the caster’s spells. Multiple castings target multiple |
Note there is nothing about changing the actual terrain so therefore the Racial abilities would not be negated by this spell. _________________ 750 Dragon Dice and Counting! |

| Yes, they can use their racial abilities. The swamp stalkers would not be able to double green magic while part water is in effect. If they controlled a standing stones, they wouldn't be able to convert non-green magic into green. The goblin and swamp stalker racial abilites do not depend upon the terrain containing green; they just need to be at a swampland. |

Another important fact about Part water is that although it removes green...
a white dragon's breath still will have green. |

What is the logic of this ? I mean, the dragon is not one of your component ?
I suppose it's here to make extremely sure that Part Water never do anything noticeable ever. |

White dragons are very powerful. They are not fooled by little things like spells. So they see the actual colors of the terrain. But they can also take advantage of spells that add colors to a terrain. _________________ You can never have too many dice.
