If I rolls a Regenerate SAI with the Troll in the counter attack phase -
I can rolls for counter attack with the newly brought back unit, correct?

Or similar scenario the only difference: you rolls for saves - you can use and rolls with the new unit, correct?

yes and yes.

any unit which enters an army after the 'roll' but before you 'finalize' the roll, they roll. any unit which leaves doesn't get to count its results.
