You brought it up first. I'm just curious about history. But I understand even that can get out of hand.

That is one impressive arm! I'd like to see how this arm, er, daemon wields 12 swords! |

How long is an average game lasting? BGG lists it as 20 minutes. Given rules changes, is it still in this time frame?
Sounds like a great game for quick tournaments. Was there any in the past? Best 2 of 3, or swiss-system? |

We've changed the rules so much that any previous experience is not too useful. From the demos I've given, I'd say once you learn the icons, and understand the game, 10-15 minutes should be easy. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Unless you are purposely being a dofus. There are daemons I can construct which are incapable of winning. Put two of those together and the game literally never ends. _________________ Multiplayer Champion Gencon11/Battlefest Champion(tied) GenCon10/World Champion GenCon07/National Champion Origins05/Intermediate Champion GenCon02/Novice Champion Origins99 |

I keep saying: "Daemons don't need Brains!" Sure it's in theory possible to win by rolling enough minuses all at once. In practice, if you don't have some offense, you are not going to win. So all the dice with no offense: Brains, Lungs, and Wings, are not going to win by themselves. Interestingly, similar problem with Tentacle (mostly because it takes itself out). Spike and Stinger are good to add a few, but those as your only, you can't win. And like I said before, all offense, with no pluses, will also do you in.
It's been interesting with playing demos with random handfuls of dice. My son and I will be trying out some different daemons and see what happens. _________________ You can never have too many dice.
