Its Sunday, June 23rd at Rainy Day games in Beaverton, OR.
I am thinking about a sealed single race (30pts) but I am having a hard time making a work around for those who choose a race from the starters and having a 6 pt. to-choose-from buffer over those who pick a race from the kickers.
Any input on that would be awesome. _________________ Will

OMG is not even like that. The first time I should not have played. Said next time I would not play unless there were less than 8 people. The 2nd time there were exactly 7. So I played... BUT, after that the problems that came up, cliff suggested that, win or lose I was a ghost stand in. That way, even if I made first place I would still not get a prize. This makes sense. SOOOO if it happens that we have less than 8 people, ill do just that. Even if I make in the top 3 ish I will always only ever come in 4th. _________________ Will

| And I'm assuming that it is a 20 dollar buy in, because it's either a starter or 2 kickers? |

My Undead/Feral starters did have two plastic bags with the two race dice, each containing exactly what you expect to find in a kicker pack. The "extra" dice where loose in the box.
I don't know if every starter is made the same way (I tend to think so, but wait for confirmation), if so you can decide to use only the dice in the two bags.

I COMPLETELY forgot about that. You are a good man and I appreciate that tip. I think you solved my problem. Its true, without the loose dice ill have 15 pts. per starter per race.
Ok ill make and post the format now. _________________ Will

2nd Quarter TOURNEY!!!
Basic (Official) rules!!! 30 point, sealed, single race.
You pick with single race you want and open them up, leaving the 'loose' dice from the starters to go into your pocket before game play.
Ill be a stand in (and NOT be able to win a prize). If someone wants a starter and no one else wants the 2nd race I can stand in for that if needed.
Anyone can buy any race they choose, but also a 5$ buy in. For everyone player Above 7 an additional prize will be awarded beyond the final gift card. _________________ Will

For those packs we will randomize a pull. I am not worried too much about one detail. _________________ Will

so, if you buy a starter, do you use say, both the feral and the undead, or do you trade your feral for someones undead who also buys a starter? this
part has me confused. |

It would be split between 2 people. Say, you wanted feral. I would then be undead while your opponent might be dwarves. But we would each go halves on 2 starters. I am glad you asked. Gonna do some looking this over. Gonna need some things looked at. Cause what of dragons and terrain? Cannot get those in a kicker... _________________ Will

Question:
I buy 2 packs of Firewalkers, what do I about Dragons and Terrains?
Just curious.

Well the only thing we can do is bring your own dragons and terrain. Remember this is basic rules so no hybrids, kin, special terrains or minors. Ivory or elemental dragons only in your summon pool. And only the 4 basic terrain options for both your frontier and home. _________________ Will

OK, so...
Its going to be 30 pts single race unopened packs. With that said... On the starters... For feral/undead we will leave out the 'loose' dice. For Amazon/Swampstalkers I will personally have you pick randomly from a dice bag 3 pts to NOT be used.
Its Bring your own DRAGONS and TERRAIN (Basic, no special/gold print).
This is a basic rules tourney.
What to bring:
2 Basic terrains
2 Elemental or Ivory dragons
Enough money to buy either half of 2 starters or 2 kickers PLUS 5 dollar entry fee. I will make sure any odd starters get half paid for, so you only need enough to cover a SINGLE race.
Prizes:
I will divide the gift card 65/35 for 1st/2nd.
IF we have MORE than 7 players there will be Dragon Dice prizes.
EDIT: What NOT to bring...
'Yazee' game pads.
'Farkle' Score counters
'Dungeon and Dragon' character sheets
'Zombie Dice' rule reference sheets
These are not going to help you in the Tournament, please understand. _________________ Will
