Forgive me for being dense, Rolling Eyes but, according to the rules, in a two-player game, is it proper to start with some units in reserve? The rules clearly state to construct three armies at the beginning of the game, but I have been making a habit of holding my magicians in reserve at the beginning of the game. Am I cheating? Shocked

The only unit that begins the game in the reserves is the King's die. All other units must be at a terrain. So in a two-player game, both players must have at least one unit at every terrain.

Oops! Thanks for the info. I only play with my nephew, but I'd rather stick as close to the actual rules as possible. Embarassed
