|
|
When I have captured an 8th face can my opponent then try to maneuver it on their turn?
Also after a dragon is summoned does it attack immediately or does it wait til next turn? And if it waits does it attack the the player who summoned it or the the player whose turn it is?
I am newbie and didn't find a clear answer in the rules. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

It waits until the Dragon Attack step (which means the next turn) and it attacks any player with an army at that terrain, including the one who summoned it.

NP, if you need references to the actual rule I'm sure someone will be along shortly to post the appropriate sections. _________________ Multiplayer Champion Gencon11/Battlefest Champion(tied) GenCon10/World Champion GenCon07/National Champion Origins05/Intermediate Champion GenCon02/Novice Champion Origins99 |

See page 20: The Eighth Face, for what can happen at an eighth face.
See page 6: The Turn Sequence for when things happen during the turn. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Thanks!
Now just to make sure I am on the right page of things. So when the dragon is summoned and you say he attacks that terrain is it against both players? If not how is it determined which players army is attacked?
I have printed off an laminated the mats and these have been super helpful there are just a few things that are tripping me up and it is because I am sure I am just missing something. |

Let me try it this way.
I'm having my turn.
I cast magic and summon a dragon. It moves to the terrain.
I end my turn.
You start your turn.
You have an army at that terrain with the dragon.
It attacks your army.
You finish the rest of your turn and move away from that terrain (to reserves)
I start my turn.
I have an army at the terrain with the dragon.
It attacks my army.
I finish my turn.
You start your turn.
You have NO army at the terrain with the dragon, so nothing happens.
