An interesting solution, but as you say, not real high priority to me.
The cost to do this for both races (no matter the solution) is just slightly less than half the cost of a new race. or could be all the cost of a new 2-mold expansion. _________________ Multiplayer Champion Gencon11/Battlefest Champion(tied) GenCon10/World Champion GenCon07/National Champion Origins05/Intermediate Champion GenCon02/Novice Champion Origins99 |

Unless I win the PowerBall Jackpot, I think this is an interesting concept, but needs to wait until other ideas are finished. Also, another TSR idea that had lots of rumors but very little substance, are the Champions. I would almost like to see these before this idea. The reason being that once new mages are made for two races, there will be a clamor for new (you name the characteristic) die to "correct" the older die. Might lead to a dice overload when constructing armies and would, for me, be a real turn-off in collecting.
Just my thoughts. _________________ Michael DeZearn

Keeping the super rare die in with otherwise flat rarity is good plan for theoretical future molding. _________________ Gaming blog, with Dragon Dice stuff: Goblinhall |

I know you guys know how I feel, but I will comment anyways. I would WAY rather have a new race than new molds for existing races. If there is a new race, I promise I will buy more of those dice than anything you "remake"! _________________ Shoe |

NOPE! Can't do that. These are not your normal injection molds. These are compression molds. All the plastic color must be the same. So if we put a Scalder dice into, say, a Feral mold, you would get a Scalder die with Feral colors, or a bunch of Feral dice with Scalder colors. And nope, we can't easily separate the dice. They all get dumped into a big tumbler to get rid of the flash and sharp edges. So they come out completely random. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

| So would we. You won't believe what it took for us just to see a single picture of part of the process. and we didn't even get to keep the picture. _________________ Multiplayer Champion Gencon11/Battlefest Champion(tied) GenCon10/World Champion GenCon07/National Champion Origins05/Intermediate Champion GenCon02/Novice Champion Origins99 |
