We do not have a video of the game play for Daemon Dice for the purpose of showing the rules. Is there a specific point that you need clarified?

the rules talk about cunstructing the daemon from 13 dice. since there are only 13 dice to choose from how do you construct or choose different body parts? what am I missing?

The starters have 26 dice in them. You can construct daemons from different colors of dice (see the rules on half-breeds). So with a starter it's possible to construct many different 13-dice daemons.

Of course, if you buy more dice, you can also make many different daemons. Every package is a random set. So very low chance that two are the same. I could calculate the chance that two are the same, but I don't have time right now.

So while there are 13 different body parts, you can have any number of the same body part in each daemon. If you had enough dice, you could (for example) construct a daemon with 13 Legs (and nothing else). When you mix different breeds, the choices become even larger.

ok thanks I guess I was asuming that the starter set was 2 players with 1 set of 13 dice of the same color for each player, which i guess is ok too.

I am trying to learn the game but in the couple rounds I have playes it seems very easy to lose by simply not rolling a body part every round. is it expected to lose quickly by rolling only 2-3 body parts and having them stunned or damaged in a round so that you lose the game very quickly?

also when you do 2 stun or wound damage, such as with a leg attack, do you stun 2 dice or just 1 and the extra is wasted?

Not sure what you are doing, but it should not go that way. Take a look at some of our on-line games: http://sfr-inc.com/bb/viewforum.php?f=29 Look for games that say "Daemon" in the title (otherwise you'll be looking a Dragon Dice games).

After you look at how some of those games are played, I think you will see how it should go.

Chuck is correct, those games, especially some of the older ones where they mention every step of the turn sequence and don't skip steps, are good examples.
