Is there any benefit to using a tower as your frontier terrain? The only benefit of a tower is that you can shoot at any terrain in play, but the frontier is only one step away from all other terrains (unless I've been playing horribly wrong).

You might choose a tower on the frontier if you don't plan to make an early effort there and you want to make sure your opponent gains no advantage from it.

I suppose that works.

I'm trying to round out my terrain collection (I have very few Feyland or Wasteland terrains) and I decided to get rid of (or at the very least set aside) anything I have more than two of, since I can't bring more than two terrains to a game. Then it occurred to me, is there a purpose to having two of a given tower? (Since I doubt I would ever put one at the frontier.)

I guess I'll hang on to two of each for now.

I would. You never know when a die might become more useful...
