Exciting News!

It gives me great pleasure to announce the first UK Dragon Dice Championship, which has been officially sanctioned by SFR!

The event will be held on the 17th and 18th of September 2016 at Midlam Miniatures, a games shop that (as far as we can tell) is the only UK stockist of Dragon Dice. The shop is located near Newcastle upon Tyne.

There is a £5 ticket required for entry, all proceeds will go towards prizes and tournament organization. We also have prize support from SFR and Midam Miniatures.

We can help with travel from Newcastle to the shop and back, and can provide advice on accomodation for those taking in both days of the tournament. We will have a variety of competition formats to be announced shortly. Don't be put off by the location, Newcastle is only 2hr45 on the train from London!

Sounds awesome!

I wish I had the ability to travel to some of these non-US tournaments. I'd like to see how different strategies and tactics are used in those areas.

Hey all! The tournament is just over two weeks away! Plans are in place and we hope to welcome you all to Midlam Miniatures.

We will use the SFR tournament Rules:

I can also now confirm the 4 tournaments that we will run! These are described on pages 14 through 17 of the above.
- Classic Championship Construction (36 health, any dice, rules apply)
- Sealed Kicker (buy two kickers, use your own dragons and terrains.
- Single Race Construction (36 health, single race, no magestorm, rules apply)
- Team Tournament (two players per team)

The Classic and Sealed Kicker tournaments will take place on Saturday, the Single Race and Team Tournament on the Sunday.

As ever, we are happy to help with accomodation and travel for those coming from afar. Just get in touch!

Well, that was my first Dragon Dice tournament, and I had a fantastic time, I even won something (sealed kicker) Smile

It was a great experience, and it certainly added an extra frisson of excitement to the games!
