Saw that rules version 3.02 was released for Gen Con. Were there any rules changes? I didn't notice much, though one of the spells changed slightly.

Rules 3.0.2 are simply a reformat of 3.0.1. The PDF index is expanded so that it is more useful. No rules changes. Some minor wording changes to make it clearer.
Here's the link: http://www.sfr-inc.com/Rules-3.0.2%20-%20final%201%20May%202017.pdf
Note: there is not a version 3.2. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Thanks. Was trying to see if there was a reason to print the new version. I'll go with no. _________________ Duct tape is like the Force: it has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together |

The graphics lost there clarity.
In version "Rules-3.0-20160711" if you look at the set of trample icons,
you'll see no pixilation.
So this is what is called re-rasterization.
The original file becomes compressed using a different format, and the end result is loss of sharpness clarity and it gains fuzziness and pixelization... or squares.
It may be to save file size... however I did make the same observation on the pdf rules color firewalker-treefolk starter and Cliff corrected it...
it looked great... instead of fuzzy.
It will simply look more professional with sharp graphics.
Thanks for the rules update. |

Can't be helped with the rules in Microsoft Word. Word will not work with eps files. So I had to convert every icon to PNG. I did it so that it was the correct size during the conversion (using macros in Illustrator).
So the only real way to fix this is to put this into a better package. Best thing would be into InDesign, but I don't have time right now. _________________ You can never have too many dice.
