thanks! so much... i found the geocities site in the wayback machine, but that specific page is not archived--but the info is in my book notes, now (maybe I'll need to include an exhaustive encyclopedia!) I'm already thinking about commissioning this dude to do an awesome map of Esfah

Looks like the Geocities page was Mark Wikers, one of the original SFR team, IIRC. Don't know if he's got any interest anymore, unfortunately.

quick update: I did complete Nanowrimo hitting 50,000 words the day before thanksgiving... I'm guessing a rough draft will complete next month at about 80-85k

and have a high quality map produced (a poster/print would make a great kickstarter stretch goal in my opinion)

I'm about a week away from new revisions on the novel, Cliff... I'll get it over to you for initial thoughts, hopefully by mid-january (I'm currently working on releasing the next installment of my Firefly-like space opera. I promised my readers that it would be available by Christmas. All is done but the audio version which is at about 30% recorded... I inevitably locate a missing article or odd sentence during the recording process and then fix it. All that to say, I'm right on target with projections.) I did read through Heart of Stone & Flame, Tome of Tarvenehl, and Cast of Fate over the last 10 days and took some extensive notes which will help the next draft revision. I'll be able to include some familiar world-building elements in the story and I've got a few easter-egg style references to events from the previous stories.
